The Community Mental Health Committee is a collaboration among NCSPP, PINC and Access Institute to address the need for time and space to reflect on community mental health work from a psychoanalytic perspective. Our developing committee organizes an annual conference aimed at bringing together a wide range of community mental health service providers, therapists, and psychoanalysts to explore how we can build capacity and think deeply in the rich realities of our various settings. We also meet bi-monthly for case presentations from community providers as part of our on-going creation of "space" for reflection.
